Amy Grossman Raine ’76 was born and raised in Chicago and Evanston, Illinois. Her early years included summers spent at camp in Wisconsin, traveling extensively with her family, and planning adventures with her sister, Claire Grossman ’78. High school brought endless activities, including being the school mascot, and president of the student council. 

Amy started Mount Holyoke College as a February freshman, taking her first semester at the University of Illinois before heading to South Hadley. Majoring in economics, minoring in political science, she took junior year at Wesleyan College. Following graduation and more travel,  Amy headed to M.I.T. for a masters of science in finance at the The Sloan School of Management. From there her travel bug got intertwined with work and she took a job at The World Bank in Washington DC.  Amy spent a six years in international development, four of which were living in Indonesia. She worked on large infrastructure and tree crop projects.  This work led to more consulting work and ultimately to commercial real estate,  a business she is still active in today. 

She worked for many years at Cushman & Wakefield, Newmark Knight Frank among others and currently works at Coldwell Banker Realty. She is active in a number of local charities.

Amy is a long time Malibu resident, with her husband Kendall. She has two great grown children, Olivia and Harrison.
